Wedding @ Four Seasons Hotel review

The bunny and hubby held customary wedding ceremony last Sunday. We wanted a fuss-free event so we went straight to the hotel after the hubby came to pick me at my place.

The service we had from Four Seasons was nothing short of impressive from the moment we stepped into the hotel. We arrived considerably earlier than the usual check-in time at 3 pm, yet the friendly front desk was able to get us the suite at 1 pm.

Of course, we maximized the waiting time to take some pictures around the hotel - which wasn't allowed till the date of your wedding.

The suite was huge! I think the bathroom was even bigger than my new flat's master bedroom!

We were served complementary champagne and sweets... I have to say that the chocolate pralines were some decent stuff.

Moving on to the main event, the cocktail reception and banquet. The ballroom was perfectly decorated in accordance to what I had asked for (I did had some special requests on the flowers). There were staff at hand to assist me in all aspects of the wedding - opening doors, helping me up the stage, pulling the seat for me to sit. One little glitch was the printed menu - "leaves" was spelt as "leave". We had highlighted this issue during the food tasting but I guess someone missed the memo. Nonetheless, the hotel had all the menus reprinted and replaced before the guests arrived.

Food wise, hubby and I didn't manage to eat much. However, feedback from our relatives and friends proved that they were pretty much satisfied with the dishes.

What we did get to eat was a 3 course dinner for each of us, served via room service - on the house.

Alaskan King Crab Salad with Mango and Avocado
Caesar Salad
Kurobuta Pork Chop
Wagyu Beef
For brides-to-be who are considering Four Seasons as your wedding venue, you can rest assured that everything is in good hands for your big day. I felt that I had a really good experience at Four Seasons. Also, my guests had nothing but good things to say on the food and service. It's a thumbs up from the bunny and hubby!
