Buffet breakfast @ One-Ninety, Four Seasons Hotel

The hubby celebrated my birthday with a staycation at Four Seasons Hotel. It was such a frantic rush during the wedding so we decided to make up for it with a nice relaxing stay to enjoy the facilities available.

Cove Stadium @ Sentosa Cove

The bunny was playing tour guide at Sentosa Cove when my visitor from the US decided that he wanted lunch. We headed to Cove Stadium, a bistro-bar, that is decidedly sports-themed.

Cove Stadium serves pub grub and beverages such as beers, liquors, wines and crafted cocktails. Sports fans will also get to catch the latest sports action screened here. You may want to note that the place is named in I-S Best Bars Guide 2014.

Wedding @ Four Seasons Hotel review

The bunny and hubby held customary wedding ceremony last Sunday. We wanted a fuss-free event so we went straight to the hotel after the hubby came to pick me at my place.

The service we had from Four Seasons was nothing short of impressive from the moment we stepped into the hotel. We arrived considerably earlier than the usual check-in time at 3 pm, yet the friendly front desk was able to get us the suite at 1 pm.

Puppy grooming @ Petopia

The bunny and hubby busied ourselves with bringing Pixie for a MUCH NEEDED grooming session this evening.

See how messed up Pixie's fur is?
I have to say - I'm pretty impressed by their level of service! Since it's our first visit, Petopia sent me a text message to tell me the stylist who would be in-charge of Pixie's fur-cut 2 days in advance and followed up with a phone call the next day. Geez.. even the bunny's beautician doesn't do that..

Nara Thai @ Westgate

Nara Thai Cuisine is an up-market restaurant in Thailand and has been consistently voted as Thailand’s Best Restaurant by Tatler. Currently, they have 3 branches in Bangkok and 2 in Singapore - Ion Orchard and Westgate.

The bunny is a lucky girl since Westgate is a stone throw away from my place and it's really convenient for me to satisfy my craving for authentic Thai food . I've actually visited Nara Thai a couple of times for lunch already since they opened a few months back.

Review on Renatus Photography

If you have read the bunny's ROM post last year, you would have noticed that the hubby & I engaged Kelvin from Renatus Photography as our photographer.

Well, the hubby and I were so disappointed with our pre-wed pictures that we decided to get another photographer. We got to look at our photos in June and 3 months down the road, I'm still seething whenever I look the pictures.

The following review is without bias and based on true facts.

Sorry for the hiatus!

Dear BunnySays readers, I'm really really sorry for the 2-month hiatus and without warning too! *knocks myself on the head*

Life has crazy lately. With the wedding preparations, furniture shopping for the new house and adding a puppy to the mix, it has been nothing short of a whirlwind each and everyday...
I have lots of posts to catch up on and I promise it's not going to take so long this time.

Meanwhile, if you like puppy pictures, head on to Pixie's Facebook page to check out how the little rascal is driving me nuts, in a good way of course!

Pixie is coming!!

The hubby and bunny had been scouting for a 4-legged, face-licking companion for a while now and I'm glad to announce that Pixie will be coming home with us this Sunday!

Pixie is a 2-month old female Japanese Spitz puppy. Isn't she just so adorable?

You'll definitely be seeing more of her in future BunnySays posts!

Halal Thai Food @ Bumbu, Kandahar Street

The bunny was meeting up with an Indian Muslim friend over the week and we decided on Bumbu, a Halal Thai restaurant that we've both heard about, but never tried.

PARK @ Holland Village

After PARK made it to one of the top 5 places for best mac and cheese in Singapore by Lifestyle Asia, the bunny and hubby decided to make a trip to Holland V. Undoubtedly, this comfort food holds a special place in our hearts and we were hoping that PARK's version will knock our socks off.

PasarBella @ Marina Bay Sands

Tonight, the bunny and hubby were at the Marina Bay Sands area - to have a look-see at the light art from the i Light Marina Bay festival.

Happy Croco display at i Light Marina Bay
The hubby was fully armed with his DSLR, tripod and other photography whatnots. However, our first mission was to find some grub to fill our tummies. We decided to get our sustenance from PasarBella, which is now temporarily set up at Event Plaza at Marina Bay Sands.

Vday dinner @ La Cuisson

The bunny was left to make dinner plans for Valentine's Day since the hubby was in camp for reservist. I settled for a reservation at La Cuisson since I've always wanted to try their food but they have been moving from place to place - first at Queens Street, to Holland Drive and finally to Prinsep Street where they're operating now.

363 Katong Laksa @ Holland V

The hubby and bunny were on our way to SOSD's adoption drive at Biopolis when we decided to head for some chow first. Lunch was at 363 Katong Laksa, not anywhere near Katong, but located in Holland Village.

Shop front of 363 Katong Laksa
363 Katong Laksa not only serves laksa, as per it's namesake, but also Nasi Lemak. It's one of those places which the bunny frequents when the craving for sinful food hits.

Etude House I Need You, Vitamin Complex Mask Sheet review

The bunny was out shopping over the weekend and bought 3 pieces of Etude House's relatively new Alphabet masks to try out. Since I've just used the Vitamin Complex mask, I thought that I'll just share my review here.

The Alphabet Masks which the bunny bought
I have to say that Etude House does a really job with their packaging as usual. The Vitamin Complex mask pack looks really cheery and colorful, even though it's pills that were pictured.

Shabu Sai @ Orchard Central

The bunny was itching to fill my tummy with a good buffet but the queue at Kiseki was soooooooo long when the hubby and I dropped by (as it was a spontaneous decision, we didn't manage to make any reservation) after shopping in the vicinity of Orchard Central on a Saturday evening. The snaking queue was (almost) enough to rival McDonald's queue when there's a Hello Kitty offer. Hence, we decided to made a slight detour and visited Shabu Sai for our dinner, which was just next door to Kiseki.

Bunny bakes... Sesame cookies + recipe

It's has been ages since the bunny baked something... Since I got home earlier today after taking half day leave to get car car fixed at the workshop ($$$ flyyyy), I dug out my old recipe for some Chinese sesame seed cookies. It's just in time for CNY too!

Sesame cookies baked by the bunny...
These little gems are crunchy and nutty fragrance from the sesame seeds smell simply wonderful. The cookies themselves aren't too sweet.

Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps Review

The bunny was looking for a soap that had effective cleansing power yet gentle on skin and isn't chock full of chemicals. With that in mind, I was going through the ingredients list of tons of soaps and was almost ready to throw in the towel, until I chanced upon Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps.

Dr. Bronner's Rose Pure-Castile Bar Soap (Rose)
With my skin, less is apparently more; the less chemicals, the better my skin seems to fare. I have been using the Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap for a while now as a facial cleanser and my face seems to take it pretty well.

Miam Miam @ Bugis Junction

The bunny was introduced to Miam Miam by a supplier (the same guy as Fukuichi at TripleOne Somerset), so it was close to Christmas when I headed down to Bugis Junction to have lunch. It's the first of the chain in Singapore and Miam Miam is already well-established in Australia.

Sign board at the entrance of Miam Miam
Miam Miam serves French/Japanese fusion food as a stand-alone stall at #02-14 of the mall. It's kinda weird since the place was away from the other eateries and surrounded by apparel shops. Oh wells, you can look around to see which of the shops are having sale while waiting for your meal like I did...
