The Bunny's Hong Kong trip - Tim Ho Wan

"It's not a visit to Hong Kong without dim sum."

Day 3 in Hong Kong and we still haven't eaten any dim sum.. so this bunny dragged the bf out of bed and we headed to IFC where lots of internet searches said that Tim Ho Wan resides. Well, it's not there, not exactly. Tim Ho Wan is below the IFC Mall. More specifically, it's at the MTR mall at Hong Kong station.

The fare is similar to the Tim Ho Wan that we have in Singapore. And yes, I did remember correctly, the BBQ buns and Steamed Cake are less sweet than the ones in SG. Apart from that, the osmanthus cake in Hong Kong is much more fragrant than the tasteless jelly I had at Plaza Sing.

Glue Rice Dumpling
Steamed Fresh Shrimp Dumpling
Steamed Pork Dumpling with Shrimp (Shao Mai)

Steamed cake in HK is less sweet
The BBQ Buns look pale but they still have a crunchy exterior
Even the color of the Tonic Medlar & Osmanthus Cake is richer than the SG ones
Like all other eateries that the bunny visited in Hong Kong, service is as efficient and we had our orders served within 2mins.
