Etude House I Need You Pomegranate! Mask Sheet Review

To be honest, I wasn't really looking forward to try another mask from Etude House's I Need You range since my previous experience with the mask was a lemon (pun fully intended). Nonetheless, since I have already bought a few pieces of the mask, there's no sense in letting them go to waste. So today's self-pampering session is with the Etude House I Need You, Pomegranate mask.

Etude House I Need You, Pomegranate mask sheet

The mask is described to contain pomegranate additives for a healthy complexion. It doesn't say what healthy complexion is though... Hmm...

Etude House I Need You, Pomegranate mask sheet directions & ingredients
The mask has a very subtle fragrance. I can't tell exactly what is, it's not pomegranate, but it is pretty pleasant and relaxing.

The sheet was completely soaked yet there was still essence left in the packet when I took the mask out. The mask sheet itself feels more silky than cottony.

Can you spot the pool of essence sitting at the bottom of the packet?
I thought that I was going to complain about the fit of the mask sheet again, but the pomegranate mask seems to fit my face a lot better than the lemon one. It's not so wide and the eye holes are not so big and close together. Granted, I still had to cut slits at the chin area to fold the mask, but this is a huge improvement!

Here's the ObliviousBunny wearing the pomegranate mask.
The fit isn't as bad as Etude House's lemon mask. Less bubbles!
Ok, since I'm not really sure what healthy complexion is, it's kinda difficult to gauge the mask's effectiveness. I didn't see any brightening/whitening effects. What this mask did was to moisturize. My face felt slightly sticky after I patted the leftover essence into the skin. My skin was noticeably hydrated after 30 mins with the mask.

I liked Etude's House I Need You, Pomegranate mask sheet much better than the I Need You, Lemon mask sheet. However, I don't think I'll be repurchasing it any time soon as it's sole forte is hydration. Etude House's sheet masks aren't exactly the cheapest in the market (retails at $2 each) and there's lots of other mask options that promise greater results.
