Blanc Soap Review

My order of the Blanc soap came in reached me just 2 days before Chinese New Year. Counting back, I've been using it for slightly more than 6 weeks already.

This Korean soap is touted on Qoo10 as a miracle soap for acne and its effects are reported to be seen within 4 weeks.

So here's my take on the soap...

I'm quite happy that there's no Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) which seems to wreck havoc on my skin. Here's the full ingredient list of Blanc: Houttuynia Cordata, Canendula Extract, Green Tea Extract, Licorice Extract. Hyaluronic Acid. Peppermint Extract, Propolis Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Palm oil, Alkyl Poly Glucosides, Macadamia Nut Oil, Shea Butter, Distilled Water

The soap is pretty soft when first opened but it dries out when left out in the air. It lathers pretty well to give thick, luxurious foam.

I really hate the smell of the soap. It has a strong herbal smell that reminds me of a traditional chinese medicinal hall.

The most disappointing part would be its efficacy. Till now, after using the soap religiously every morning and night for more than a month, I still have not noticed any difference in my skin. New acne and pimples still pop  out. It just doesn't work for me.

I don't think I'll re-purchase this soap since it's not helping my skin and it kinda stinks. If you're interested to try for yourself, the Blanc soap can be bought through Qoo10.sg.
