My Scheming Herbal Anti-Acne Mask Review

The bunny has just hauled My Scheming masks from Sunnanz. They're going at less than a dollar a piece ($0.99 to be exact)!

By no fault of Sunnanz, this order almost gave me a heart attack, thanks to Singpost's atrocious service. (Read all about it here.) I'll like to take this opportunity to thank Christina from Sunnanz for her support and prompt follow-ups when the package went missing. Talk about the difference of heaven and hell in terms of customer service.

I'm happy to report that all the masks purchased this time round have very recent manufacturing dates, around Aug/Sep 2012.
So far, I have tried 2 My Scheming masks and I'm really happy with the results.

I'll start with the review of the Herbal Anti Acne Mask.

The mask sheet was really smooth and thin and fits my face very well. The texture of the mask is actually similar to My Beauty Diary masks. The pearl paper that came with the mask is perforated with numerous tiny holes so that less essence sticks to it when removed from the mask, so more essence goes to your face.

The mask contains ingredients that have been proven to combat acne bacteria, such as zinc sulfate and tea tree oil.

The mask was not refrigerated but it had a cooling effect when I first put it on.

I had a super big, unripe acne on my forehead on the day I put on the mask and I'm amazed at the effects. Just after 20 mins of mask application, I could see the head of the acne coming out! Also, some of the smaller bumps on my face flattened considerably! It's not an immediate cure to my acne problem but it has darn good results with just one application.
