Mexican Food @ El Patio

Nestled at Lorong Mambong (Holland Village), El Patio is a vibrant restaurant that, as I found out this evening, serves up yummy Mexican eats.

You can choose alfresco/ indoor seating here. The restaurant also serves iced-water and chips with salsa dip on the house.

The chips were crispy and the salsa dip had the right amount of tanginess and just a light tinge of spiciness which whetted our appetites.

For the mains, I had the Quesadillas Chicken ($15). The tortilla was browned nicely and the pieces of chicken contained within were juicy and tender. With every bite, cheese just simply oozed out - Yums! The dish was accompanied with guacamole and this was smooth and creamy, with a little onions bits within. The salad side that came together was refreshing with hints of sweetness that served to remove some of the heaviness of the meal.

My dining partner ordered the Steak Tacos ($16) and apparently, you can choose either crispy or soft shells for the taco.

For dessert, we ordered Churros ($8). These were crunchy and slightly chewy in the middle. However, it was a tad too sweet for my liking with the syrup drizzled on top.

Overall, it was a good dining experience. Service was pretty good as well - staff were pleasant and attentive.
