Red House Seafood Restaurant @ Robertson Quay [Pet Friendly]

I don't know about other pet owners, but I feel a twinge of guilt whenever I head out without my pooch. So when the parents wanted me to find a place for a family meal, my immediate thought  was to find a place where mom & dad could enjoy the food (which usually means that it's Chinese or local cuisine) and the doggy, Pixie, could be present. After all, pets are family!

Red House Seafood was the answer to my requirements. The restaurant has a long standing history for their seafood and serve dim sum during lunch. As a bonus, the outdoor seating, where pets are allowed, offer a picturesque view of the Singapore river.

Doggies are welcomed at outdoor areas of the restaurant

Bangkok Street Mookata @ Jurong West

In our quest to complete our Pokedexes, the hubby and bunny stumbled across Bangkok Street Mookata, which is a stone’s throw from a well-known Pikachu nest (at least for now, before the nest change) in the west.
Bangkok Street Mookata
The stall is within a 24-hr coffee shop
The place is packed at dinner time
We first smelled the heavenly aroma of sizzling meats while on a serious Pokemon hunt at night (the place opens till 3am) The next day, this bunny dragged er.. convinced my parents to join us for dinner. Apparently, this place has pretty good reviews and is seriously packed during peak hours!

Pasta J [Pet Friendly]

The bunny with hubby and Pixie was at Pasta J last Saturday and it was a really positive experience. While the location isn’t the most convenient to get to, since we stay in the west, the trip was all worth it.

Cashback, FoodPanda coupons and more with ShopBack

As those who know me personally would be aware, the bunny is a hopeless online shopping addict. I shop online for almost everything, including groceries (RedMart is really convenient when it comes to buying drinks - no more heavy lifting from the supermarket!) and my expenses on shopping eats up a hefty portion of my pay each month.

I was invited to try ShopBack, a site that offers you cash back when you shop online. If you're like me, always trying to save a few bucks, you should give it a go too. Such cash back sites are very popular overseas so I'm really happy for a local site. The bunny had previously tried and received a cheque from U.S. based cash back site, Ebates, but the admin fee for cashing the cheque was even higher than the value of the cheque, so whatever I earned was wasted.  With ShopBack, the cash back earned goes straight into your local bank account or Paypal! Hooray!
